Sjoe, that was Exhausting!
What A Week!
Exhaustion truly set in this past week. I felt totally deflated – flat.
To make matters worse, my last exam last Friday was a total nightmare! I have never felt less knowledgeable (in other words more stupid!) than when I looked at the exam paper.
Getting back to work was crazy. Even though I’ve been working there quite a while, I felt disconnected even though I had a lot of work to get through. And even though my office looked like a train station during peak hour, as usual.
But worse than all that put together, I was so sick and tired of technology, I barely sent an sms, much less surfed the net. Or Facebooked, Bidorbuy or heaven forbid, blogging!
So maybe this week wasn’t so bad after all.
Because I connected with some people I haven’t spoken to or seen in a while. (I’m off to brunch with one later today.)
And I knitted a turquoise colour tunic which I might photograph and put up later. If I feel like it.
Where work is concerned I made a biggish decision – nothing earth shattering – which I will take care of on Monday.
I’m trying to get more organised where home, studies and work are concerned, so I’m not so exhausted at the end of every day.
Of course the Soccer World Cup is starting next week! I’m actually trying to not think about it too much, but intend watching every game possible, even if the tv must be muted. And occassionally head out to watch the game with a group of friends and/or family.
So maybe the week wasn’t as bad as it felt like at the time.
