The Word Unfriend Voted Word of the YEAR!

So now the word ‘unfriend’ has received celebrity status by being named tech-savvy word of the year by the New Oxford American Dictionary.

That damn word!

Having been unfriended recently for apparently no reason, I feel a bit better knowing I’m not the only one on the planet to be unfriended on Facebook.

(It felt so at the time!)

I must admit to being a bit of an obsessor – most bloggers probably are  -  so spent more time than necessary trying to figure what I did to offend her enough to unfriend me.

I still don’t know…and I don’t know what to say when I meet her family who lives in the same complex as I do.  Do I ask how is so-and-so?

And if I don’t am I offending her family?

Grrrrr this damn Facebook!

Mind you, yesterday I felt like unfriending my very own sister on Facebook when she took it upon herself to update her status with family news, that should have been related first hand.

I was so angry, I came within a few clicks of  unfriending Facebook itself from my cellphone.

But sanity prevailed as this busybody did NOT want to be miss anything.
