SA’s Got Talent: Episode 4
Last night I forgot that SA’s Got Talent was on. I only remembered half way through the show.
But I cant’ think anyone who came on before was better than the little ventriloqist boy. He was funny and his act was so cute.
I think I want a dinosaur like his one! Too sweet.
The other sort of sweet moment of that I managed to see was the one with the teenaged girls doing Doo Bee Doo by Freshly Ground.
What we saw of them – they were simply aweful.
But when Ian harshly criticised two of the three girls, and praised one of them – one of the girls started crying.
Who would come to the rescue – Randall! South Africa’s Mr Mean, himself.
He told them that all three were good singers and that they sang even better than Freshly Ground – very far from the truth! (Not that I like that song at all.)
You could actually see the girl who was crying perk up.
In between there was the 12 year old rhythmic gymnastics girl who was excellent.
The street busker who also did some acrobatics – but wasn’t good enough to continue.
It’s hard to see people who try so hard not make it – but that’s the name of the game.
The final act were the unusual dancers who brought the house down with their act. They were really good and different.
I better put a reminder on so I don’t forget next week’s episode!

I do think that what was shown of the three girls was pathetic, they sang beautifully, and that part of the act was cut out and not shown. Its claer that your comment Abigail comes from a lack of knowing. I was at the actual auditions and was shocked at what i saw on the TV last night. They entered as singers and not as dancers. Very little of the actual singinging was shown. The dancing was not the focus of the performance but the editor clearly chose to showcase it as such. Than again it is Television.
