Karin gets married
Former Idols winner Karin Kortje is got married to fiance Shaundore Aspeling Saturday.
The wedding is taking place at the Houw Hoek Inn just outside the Grabouw area where Karin worked as an apple-picker before she entered Idols.
Her rags to riches story along with her good singing voice, made Karin the judges and public’s favourite from the start.
After her win she moved to Johannesburg to pursue a singing career disaster struck.
The small town girl broke up with her then boyfriend and started seeing a would-be murderer!
During the trial, Karin met Shaundore Aspeling a married man.
More fodder for the tabloids!
He and Karin started formally dating after his divorce.
They had a baby boy called Tobin last October, a second child for Karin.
They are currently expecting another son.
Things may be turning around for the Idols winner as her new record gets released early next year.
