Luke Watson Gets Married
WP captain Luke Watson married his fiancee Elaine Locke in Cape Town on Saturday.
A busy weekend for Watson started with him scoring a hat trick of tries on Friday night to lead Province to a bonus point victory.
Saturday he married his sweetheart Elaine at the famous St George’s Cathedral in the city centre.
The groom wore a tuxedo jacket and kilt in honour of his Scottish heritage.
The bride wore black.
Elaine’s dress was created by Errol Arendz.
High tea was served to guests at the Mount Nelson Hotel, followed by dinner at the Vineyard Hotel in Claremont.
Luke will be leaving Cape Town in November to play for Bath in the UK.
The newly weds have not planned a getaway honeymoon.
