Finding Smart Bargains Online

Someone dared to ask whether we started Christmas shopping yet on one of the forums I visit.

My first thought was: is it 24 December already? If not then hell no!

I’m notoriously bad about planning holiday gifts.

Having said that, I’m always looking for great bargains online.

It’s not as easy as one would think.

Unlike other countries where major retailers are not shy with rewarding smart internet buyers with smart internet bargain prices, we get charged the or more than retail stores.

I’m addicted to chasing great bargains (or what I consider to be smart bargains) at Bidorbuy Crazy Auctions.

I got a few great sterling silver earrings for my niece for R30, including postage as well as a semi-precious stone necklace set for my mother’s birthday present for R1!

I always look at postage price combined with auction price, because some sellers try to make up profit with overcharging postage.

A smart bargain is after all only smart if we pay less than you usual.

Since I love jewellery, I mostly look out for gold and sterling silver jewellery, but there’s many other bargains to be bought.
