Vodacom’s New Single Ladies Advert
Tonight just before 8. 00pm Vodacom flighted their new internet advert.
It features the Beyonce song ‘Single ladies (put a ring on it) and a guy dressed in denim shorts doing the dance moves of the song’s video.
The advert is based on a skit done by Justin Timberlake on Saturday Night Live a while ago.
Much better than the Vodacom maklik ads.

It’s not often that we enjoy watching an ad but this one is absolutely hilarious. I even love it more than the washing powder ad where a woman is hanging out her washing and a taxi drives past and all the passengers in the taxi go “Yo” and put their sunglasses on. Also a classic!

I love that farmer guy. He’s hilarious. I recognised him from that internet movie short called Alive in Joburg and the new Peter Jackson sci-fi movie called D9

best ever, my house comes to a standstill, nobody wants to miss it and the ad that follows gets a miss coz we’re all still laughing. this is the 1st ever ad that as this effect on us, oh blonk, then the Elton and Jan ad is another classic, nobody misses that either. Well done Vodacom!!

I was so amazed to see that vodacom did what it did so for me as an advertising student cause i anlyse it according to my experience in the field it was funny and more interesting to see how far vodacom can go. it was hillirious……….but still wants to know the concept about it……………. wow that go……………….oooood!
