Australia out of ICC World T20!
Shame, those Aussies were looking like losers almost from the word go on Monday evening in the first round of the ICC World T20.
Sri Lanka had their number almost from the first ball. Their spinners in the middle kept the Australians quiet while taking wickets and then they just cruised to victory without too much drama.
Australia will not be moving onto the next round of the tournament starting Thursday!
Neither will Bangladesh for that matter, beaten by Ireland no less!
This evening at 6.30pm our time, the Proteas play against New Zealand. It will be interesting to see if the Proteas can keep up their great recent form.
The show will go on…without the Aussies!!! And it couldnt’ have happened to a nicer team.
You almost have to feel sorry for those Aussies — almost.
