ICC World T20 Starts Today!!
Families of Twenty20 fans have just gotten used to seeing them around, when the World T20 arrives on Friday.
The World Cup of the short game takes place in England.
Previously South Africa hosted the inaugural T20 World Cup, very successfully!
The local Proteas were favourite to win the tournament and looked well on their way until the semi-final. In the end India and Pakistan provided the other dream final.
And what a final it was at the Bull Ring in Jo’burg.
India eventually walked away with the top prize.
One again South Africa is one of the favourites to win the trophy. Proteas fans will likely be cautiously optimistic.
What can I say, we’re on optimistic bunch!
The Proteas only get going on Sunday 7 June at 12.00pn. Against Scotland.
