Isidingo Teasers – June 2009

We sommer start the month with two of my least favourite characters on Horizon Deep – Farrow and Barker Haynes. Arghhhhhhh a drunken Barker is not even that much better than one trying to get sober.
Any Barker is too much Barker for this viewer – better keep the remote control batteries charged.
Seems love is in the air in Isidingo with a myriad of odd couples in June:
Nandipha and Johnny??? Can it work? I hope so! Really an odd couple.
Barker getting married – to Farrow perhaps? Seems like Harriet isn’t too happy with whoever he married.
Lolly and Frank??? NOOOOO! Maybe? I guess I was hoping for Lolly and Len.
Priya and Rajesh? NOOO! Definitely! Rajesh making the moves on Priya -his best mate’s ex/girlfriend?

I think the Lolly- Frank romance could prove incredibly intense(YAY!!!!!!) and we all know Isidingo could do with a bit of romantic spice. I definitely would love to see Frank as a nurturing lover rather than the abrasive type he so far has been and I think Lolly could bring that out of him. (YAY!!!!!!!)

I have to admit, Lolly and Frank are growing on me. Lolly’s crush is quite sweet at the moment. Very realistic too.

Isn’t it time that Barker gets the land. It would be a great message for everyone out there that you could always get back on your feet if you are motivated. There are so many people out there who simply give up. Losing everything you have is tough, even traumatic, but life goes on. If we as South Africans adopt an attitude of surviving, rather than just settling, we may just make it in this country with all its ups and downs.

Barker is not stealing the land from the Moloi’s, he’s buying it. He is doing them a favour in his own screwed up way. The Zamdelas of this world will eat him alive and rob him of his innocence. We also dont want everybody to turn out to be power hungry monsters.

By the way, this Lolly and Frank thing is sweet, little screwed up, but sweet. Priya should just open her eyes and see that Rajesh has feelings for her and maybe they can live happily ever after.
