Transport Minister Returns Merc, Flat Screen tv and Cattle

While the new Transport Minister S’bu Ndebele saw nothing wrong with receiving lavish “surprise” gifts from a group of contractors, he nontheless returned them.

According to IOL.co.za after discussing with his family, the Minister decided that it would be best to return:

the Mercedes Benz S500

A flat screen tv

As well as 2 heads of cattle

Looks like that Transport Minister is one to be watched closely.

We can probably bet that the ‘family’ who assisted in the decision to hand back the Merc, included the ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe.
