Today is Jacob Zuma’s 67th birthday.

I could sing Happy Birthday Mr President, but in all likelihood I would throw up a little in my mouth.

So I will just wish the president of the ANC and probably leader of the country a good birthday celebration.

I also wish:

1. that he puts the country first and decline the nomination to the presidency when it is made on after the election.
2. that he will have the courage to stand trial for corruption and other charges put to him.
3. a sense of humour and the ability to laugh at himself with regards to Zapiro’s satiric cartoons.
4. good health and time with his family – far away from public life and politics
