Cindy Nel Gets Married This Weekend
Former Miss South Africa, Cindy Nell, is to marry businessman Clive Roberts in the Kwazulu Natal Midlands on Saturday afternoon, 21 March 2009.
Cindy who presents on tv actuality show Pasella and who previously dated cricketer Jacques Kallis, asked their 120 invited guests to wear all white to the wedding according to Die Burger.
Everything from a wedding registry to dress code was available to guests on Cindy and Clive’s wedding website.
Cindy will have three gowns for the wedding. The main dress is pure white, has 6000 freshwater pearls and is designed by Pretoria designer Dennis Lloyd.
Guests include South African celebrity partners, Emmanuel Castis and Louise Carver, Michelle Garforth and husband Riaan Venter, Paul Rothman (Pasella presenter) and his wife, amongst a host of others.
Unfortunately Joost and Amor van der Westhuizen declined to attend, in an attempt to not upstage the bride and groom with their public scandal.
The wedding takes place at 4.00pm.
Cindy and Clive’s wedding website has already been lauded as a good idea for other brides and grooms to-be.
