Great Sporting weekend thanks to Liverpool and Stormers
For those of us long suffering fans who support both Liverpool and the Stormers – phew! what a weekend!
Not that they didn’t I didnt get sinking feeling when both teams went behind. First that demon Ronaldo scored for United.
At least during those 5 minutes Liverpool was behind we could reminisce about their great European victory against Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
And then it was all Liverpool – despite what the United manager, whatshisface said afterwards.
Doing the double against United in the league is the best feeling that can only be bettered with a League trophy.
Torres and Gerrard together again. At least until the next match all is forgiven.
The Stormers also looked like their old selves of previous weeks. Before we knew it they were handing tries to the Lions and throwing the ball everywhere, but to a team mate.
Within in 20 minutes they were 12-3 down. But through some miracle they started playing like we know they can.
Captain Jean de Villiers found his feet and the rest responded. 56-18 aint bad at all.
Stormers fans have something to celebrate before the dreaded trip to Australasia.
Liverpool and Stormers fans both know that we have to celebrate in the moment. Just when you expect a smooth run, they pull the rug from under you.
What a great week to be Liverpool fan particularly.
