Easy Monday Pasta Recipe
This recipe can be made with any pasta you have on hand.
Depending on the size of dish you wish to make, add more or less pasta and white sauce. Works very well with lasagna sheets too.
Ingredients
Pasta
Spinach
White Sauce
Hard yellow cheese (of your choice)
White sauce Ingredients
Margarine
Cake Flour
2 Eggs
500ml Milk
Salt and pepper to taste
White sauce Method:
On low heat add to a saucepan:
2 tablespoons butter/margarine
2 heaped tablespoons flour
salt to taste
Stir with whisk and add half a litre milk slowly to mixture
Once white sauce is slightly thickened, add 2 eggs whisked eggs
Add pepper to taste
Put pasta, spinach and white sauce into oven proof dish and cover with cheese.
Grill in oven until cheese melts
Makes enough for 2 as main meal or 4 as side dish.
